Soldiers are they who risk their lives for a vision or motto. The people working here can not be called soldiers in that way.But they lead a tough life which makes us that what we belong.The workers of the barrage,to whom this riverine country owe a lot.Keeping the sun over head they  draw sacks of sands and huge stones to the river. When sun and sweat make them thirsty they have salted tubewell water to drink.Know how they overcome?Pouring some tasty salines makes them win in their battle.

 Sun,Salt water,weights that’s all?No,they have another struggle to fight. Sand wind has a very bad effect on their skins.Many of them have got a life scar on skin working in this hostile environment.

 None of them can stay more than two or three week in this hell,you believe?The nearest bazar(Muhuri Project) is at least two hours walking way. Despite of all of these they are working on and on fo our good living.

At last one word from the heart to these men,”Salute Soldiers.”.
